| | Notes: | This DVD has initially been released as a supplement of the DiViDi magazine 11/2002. According to an article in the magazine, the transfer originates from an analogue BetaCam tape, and sure looks like it. Moreover, the article claims that the film's intended format has been widescreen, unfortunately, a usable WS source for the DVD could not be found. Pity...
Update: According to Czech Feature Film V, 1971 - 1980 (28), the OAR is actually 1.37:1!
Národní filmový archiv. Czech Feature Film V, 1971 - 1980. Praha: NFA, 2007. *difference between channels is -54.61 dB (0.19 %) |

Well, this Russian release IS a definite improvement over the old Czech one! Progressive, more vivid... Sadly, we're still denied the fullness of the original 2.35:1 scope. :-( As a side-note, the Japanese captions in the photogallery suggest the DVD is a port of an older Trash Mountain Video's disc.
