In comparison with the French release, the transfer looks washed-out, with quite a lot of white speckles (definitely more than our screenshots reveal). On the other hand, the French print might be oversaturated, as it lacks detail (notice e.g. the cross-hatching lines), but it's hard to be sure, as I've never seen this theatrically.

Notes: 
I've been trying to get my hands on the Czech version of "La planète sauvage" for quite some time, and, finally, here it is. Unfortunately, the print used exhibits what must be the most complete collection of artefacts I've seen in one place. Ever. You name it, it's got it. In alphabetical order: cue blips, dust speckles, fluctuating brightness, scratches, tramlines and... whatnot. ;-) This is not readily apparent in the gallery below, but check these out (the following are JavaScript animations):
